Can we have a moment of silence

My God, it has to be torture for most of those over 50, maybe 60 plus years old to sit in those seats for over 2 hours .

I was thinking it would be something to have our Senior Fans challenge the Hall’s Senior fans to a 10 minute game .

Pitino and Holloway would Coach . 3 days of Pitino practice would be required for those who sign up . Try outs before team selected . Or , maybe just everyone who signs up .

EMT’s, MD’s, PA’s and and Ambulances would be standing by , just in case .

Game played at CA in July with doors open .

Seton halls 2 most talented guards over last 5 years both now essentially have no legacy with them. Ties severed pretty much completely. Powell with the lawsuit and Kadary now with the good guys. And both of these guys accomplished things at seton hall and were there for multiple years. Harsh reality of college hoops.

While I do not like Seton Hall, I do not want to see this happen to them. It is a prime example of college football and basketball in the newly emerged Wild West.

And the BE is in a precarious spot because none, sans Satan, I mean UConn, can match the money being thrown around in the football first Mega Conferences.

Hopefully, it comes to a point where either:

1. Football recruits absorb so much of the school’s NIL fund, the basketball players are left crumbs.

2. A formula is put in place where the percentage of the school’s NIL must be allocated based on the percentage of revenue a sport brings into a university.

Of course neither of these will happen because it mainly benefits the Big East (hey, I am using heavy handed tactics like the football conferences do to us). The best we can hope for is some type of union and then a hard “NIL cap.” If the NFL and NHL can have it, so can college sports.

Rivalries are great, but after a quarter century of SJU Dance ineptitude, a little humility may be in order v gloating about SH situation. 😇
Other than greed, you know what else is good? Gloating. Even if you look come across looking foolishly.😁

Officially "Old Friends" for Seton Hall fans.

My theory has been to enjoy the five (hopefully) Pitino years, because once they are over SJU is done nationally. It is what it is. I see no other outcome. Good news is I would be happy to be wrong about that, and posters know I'm often wrong.

Hopefully once Pitino retires (with one more national championship to top off his HOF resume’) the system will be a little more organized and orderly and the playing field will be somewhat level.

My assumption is it will be more organized and orderly but the playing field will become even less level.

No gloating from me. They've better a better program on balance last quarter century. Now, no one really cares about that in the NJ area, forget about the NY area, but it's true.

But any Hall fan, employee, coach, etc can save the holier-than-thou act when it comes to this stuff. If they could have done the same to us this past offseason, Sha would have in a nanosecond. He had no problem taking Wusu and apparently wanted to take Posh last year. Regardless of whether they were not asked to return here, they didn't have to play for Seton Hall of the million other schools. No, he took Wusu because he thought he needed him to win games. He was going to take Posh because he thought it would help him win games. Period.

Add Taurean Thompson for tampering finger pointing as well.
