Cal Loses to Yale

Yale outrebounded Cal 38-31 and Cal only shot 2-10 from 3, both good signs for us. Looks like Cal plays 7 guys of whom 3 are frosh and 3 sophomores - very young and not very good. Should be a much easier game for us than Rutgers.

I watched part of it. Only one game, but Cal looks offensively deficient, really in all aspects.

Insomnia / guilty conscience and I was up watching this. Cal to me looked like the worst team I've seen including our D2 opponent. Not just poor play but not getting back on defense and often not defending much at all. They do have Tariq Owens' skinny/taller brother... (kidding no relation but you get the picture) but he didn't seem very athletic though did take at least one 3. Maybe the international travel got to them but they were really bad. I think I heard them say one of their key players was out with NCAA issues and another was injured so we may see more from them than they showed. But if they are anything like what they did vs Yale we will win by 40+ because speed and athleticism (from Yale) killed them.

Temple is team I fear in Brooklyn if we meet. Well coached & can make it a scrappy, deliberate rock fight of a game.

Every well coached team will be a challenge.
