They had a lot of really good players and probably the worst coaching staff in Div I. He would have went to LSU originally but they were loaded. They talked him into backing out of SJU when the opportunity arose. Realistically while it sucks when you are going through it, long term it probably works in our benefit that the guys who get lured away by street agents and the like end up elsewhere. You want people that are 100% bought-in to make a good team. Guys looking for the BBD may get some good individual achievements but are not team builders and hurt or even kill team chemistry with their own agendas and priorities.
