Boomer & Carton Charity B-Ball @ CA

Mullin was pretty funny on the air with them. He has a good sense of humor

This was a great event, honoring Joe Lemm, a fallen hero from the NYPD/Air Force. Celebrity team beat the NYPD team as Mullin's late free throws (automatic) kept the celebrities in the lead despite a flurry of late 3 pointers from the NYPD. At half time, Carton raised about 5K from various celebrities based on a bet that he could hit at least 9 of 10 free throws - an amazing performance under pressure, especially after missing badly on an open layup just moments before. John McEnroe, Tiki Barber, Justin Tuck, John Franco, Greg St. Jean and others joined Mullin on the team coached by Boomer. Bill Cowher coached the NYPD team.

Very cool for them all to come together like that.

Would be nice for those two kids if SJU offered them some type of tuition assistance for college.

I hate Carton more than anything on radio or tv. Even more than that douche Mario Lopez. That being said I'm super impressed he did 9 for 10.

Many years ago when wfan just started we ( wsju radio station played them in hoops at Alumni Hall in charity hoops game and that shit isn't easy so I gotta give Carton props)

I hate Carton as well but I hate Mike Babchick (Mad Dog Radio's Morning Men) even more
Guy is a frustrated non-funny comedian wannabe
Totally unlistenable radio!!
