Boeheim/Cuse

I must admit, I didn't think he'd ever coach a day in the ACC, having said that, I think he calls a career in 2 years. Then again, after all the time he will be spending in places like Chapel Hill, Durham, Winston-Salem, Blacksburg, Raleigh, etc, I can see him hanging it up after just year in the ACC. NYC, DC, Philly, Providence & Chicago they are not.

All of this talk that he wasn't going to coach in the ACC was nonsense IMO. Why would he hang them up after playing in those cities?? Last I knew the city doesn't matter. For example playing in Durham is more exciting than any of the 5 big east u mentioned. In matter of fact you might be able to make a case for all 5 compared to the big east right now. (Maybe not Georgetown)

If the Johnnie's don't do it this year, when will they do it. We have been waiting a long time. We need a good smack down
like we gave UCONN and Duke a couple of years ago.

Forget Pearl Washington, Derrick Coleman, Carmelo Anthony, and the rest. She is Boeheim's best recruit.

They met when they were both guests of Rick Pitino at the Kentucky Derby. From the 12/2/96 Sports Illustrated:

"And now there is Juli, whom Boeheim met at a party in Lexington on Derby Day in '94."
