35 years ago pre Big east St. John's defeated Duke in Raleigh and Penn beat North Carolina in what is now known as Black Sunday.
Now Mercer beats Duke in the same city and it makes me happy. Coach K tried to kill the Big East and sometimes Kharma comes
back and kills you.
 
Yes indeed. I remember people dumping their tickets for a dollar for the following week, also in NC, Greensboro. Of course, if Ron Plair makes a layup against Penn that week, we would have had the privliege of getting smoked by Magic Johnson...

I drove down for the Penn game. Long ride home. Let's hope the ACC continues to "impress"!

I took the fan bus two straight weekends, non-stop,except for bathroom/food breaks. Not fun. 15 hours 1 way, give or take, both times.
