Big Man On Campus Targets

Don't think we will see Mitchell play any 5. If it came to that, Hopkins would probably be better suited with his strength and longer arms. I don' think many guys are backing Hopkins down. I like the idea of both of them on the court with Prey at the 5 when Zuby rests.
I meant it more as bigs as a collective with all the switching. Can argue the collective front line is better and more experienced. How many times have we seen zuby switching to the point guard. Mitchell/Hopkins/Zuby/Prey all gonna have to bang down low in this defense ya know and i think they all more then fine. Love that 4 and Tamba for insurance i think its a great athletic line on defense/boards/blocks and on offense esp with hopkins/zuby uber athletic mitchell and growing prey. Idk im half full i like it

I found myself thinking of a SJ guy, who was not a decent jump shooter, but impacted games w his D and athleticism like Mitchell. Justin Simon came to mind. From statements from guys who know Mitchell’s game, another commonality seems to be playing multiple positions and having positive, infectious attitudes. I fully expect DM to help win a lot of games at both ends of court.

He just needs a FT shooting guru like Gary Boren of Dallas Mavs fame to get that aspect of his game above the equator. 👀

Agree - if he can get his FT% up to 64% Justin shot for us, we'll be in heaven lol
