Now that the dust has settled and the Big East rosters are all pretty much set, where do you guys see the Johnnies finishing?  I have them 3rd behind Nova and Xavier.  Xavier returns a whole lot on a team that was on the cusp of the tournament, they should be pretty good, but wouldn't surprise me if St. John's ended up winning Big East outright no team returns a duo as strong as Champ and Posh and CMA went out and got some nice system fit guys. I have no idea how some "experts" are picking UConn over St.John's, they were terrible without Bouknight last year, RJ Cole is really the only impressive returnee IMO.

6. Seton Hall
7. Providence
8. Creighton
9. Georgetown
10. Marquette
11. DePaul

I can see the top 6 teams making it to the tournament from Big East this year and the top 4 teams being ranked most of the year.
 
Is Paul Scruggs 104 years old?! Feels like he has been around forever.  (Only college player who feels older than him is Theo John, formerly of Marquette, who will be playing at Duke as a grad transfer — I believe he’ll be 125.) 
 
Two things I noticed while reading this prediction. Does the Author realize Coach Mike Anderson is headed in to season 3 at St.  John’s? Maybe I am reading it wrong but he mentions the first season?

Second, this was written before Champ’s return and the addition of Tareq Coburn. I wonder how that might have changed or impacted the ranking? Should be a fun season.
