Three yeas ago the then StJ’s AD told me that StJ’s customarily paid visiting teams $75K to play at Carnesecca.
I have since been told that some major conference schools, particularly those in out of the way places now pay low mid majors $100K for a game since there are far fewer low mid majors outside of the east coast. Many MAAC teams balances their budgets on pay games.
I would not be certain that StJ’s is paying New Mexico a fee particularly if it involves a retune trip to NM.
