Just out. Mike Waters of Syracuse.com does an annual pre-season poll of all the beat writers. RU, SJU and SHU are 11,12,13 in that order. SJU probably got knocked down 2-3 spots because of the ineligibile players.

I don't mind SJU playing under the radar. Hopefully teams will take this "young" squad lightly and they can surpirse some people.
 
 I agree with our placement but shocking to see no body for newcomer of the year. Stats will be padded for them because everyone but Stith is new
