SJU has 952 score for 14-15 season level of scrutiny. It was about the same the previous season. 930 I believe is minimum level of attainment to avoid penalty. There is a calculator for all schools on link below.

Big East Coast Bias – ‏@becb_sbn

Appears that no Big East teams will have an APR penalty, which is good news.

Jeff Eisenberg – ‏@JeffEisenberg

Lowest APR scores among power-conference men's basketball programs: TCU (938), DePaul (943), Oregon (945), Mizzou (946), Texas Tech (948)

National men's basketball average -964

the 2014-15 year would have Rysheed Jordan grades (or non-grades) in there as well

Any idea how red shirts figure in this?

They are like any other player on roster. This is for those who leave school early and don't finish their workload. Hello Philadelphia

Guys, this is what the NCAA is showing for this year, the scores posted in this thread are multi-year APR's, over the last 4 years. Click on this link. It has to be wrong isn't it?

They are correct re most current period. I just tested SJU & PC to validate that. You can see all the yearly scores by school as well. The current period reflects scores posted.

Geez, Mullin has his work cut out for him to fix that.

LOL, Okay, I'm out. Edit: before I go you guys are golden, you have 2 consecutive 1000 scores before this and will have a 900 dropping off next year with whatever is added so your average will actually increase. Overall outside of Depaul the BE is in great shape.

The one bad year (14-15) was the year Rysheed Jordan left mid semester and didn't finish his classes

The gift that keeps on giving.

In simplest terms, the killer factor re APR problems is when kids leave in Spring semester without completing classes. There are always exceptions, but sense we have a group of kids not inclined to do that.
