Big East basketball will still be better then ACC

 How many Big East teams went to the NCAA's and how many from the ACC last year ? BE had 11 teams and the ACC had 2. Everybody says its all about football, but don't you think the ACC is worried about their basketball ?

Duke made the NCAA's easily but North Carolina just got in and the year before they lost in the NIT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Syracuse, they'll stay in the Big East another 2 years and Boeheim will call it quits. St. John's should refuse to play Syracuse at the garden because it only benefits Syracuse and the ACC. Maybe after a few years of not seeing the beloved Orange at the Garden they'll put pressure on Syracuse . Let the Syracuse Alumni from NYC go to Syracuse to see them play, don't let them play in NYC period.
The ACC tried to ruin the Big East, lets see if the knuckleheads at the Big East refuse to Schedule Pitt and Syracuse.
 
I agree completely but Syracuse will play other teams in the Garden just like Duke plays games at Brendan Byrne/the Izod Center. Unfortunately for St. John's, Syracuse does not need St. John's to play games at the Garden.

Why would Syracuse give up playing in front of 30K in the Dome to play in front of 10K at MSG. They're already NY's team, they don't need MSG.

They have plenty of alumni in the NYC area who probably don't travel all the way up to Syracuse to watch them play.
 
Play Syracuse at Alumni Hall/Carnessecca Arena. Pack the place in red and white...not the Orange (and green) of Syracuse.

If that's the case it's odd that they haven't scheduled any games at MSG in Boeheim's previous century at Syracuse. Probably an oversight.
 
Guess Coaches v Cancer, preseason NIT, ST J, BE Tourney don't count. Not to mention Cuse trying to be labeled NY's team, and immediately saying will play some ACC Tourneys in NY MSG.

And I agree that we are and will continue to be better!

I hate to hear Jim B. saying "we're (SYR) joining a great BB conference, the BE should just move on".. don't like that. This coming from a lifer who always argued BE versus ACC, in BE favor.

I also hate to hear Jim C. say "we (Uconn) need to be in the best possible place for our University", again this dumbo was nothing until he got to the BE.
 
If we're going to make statements lets try tom ake sure theyre accurate. North Carolina didnt NOT just barely make the tournament last year! UNC won the ACC regular season and was just ranked in the top ten. The yhad one bad season, going 20-17 and making it to the finals of the NIT. Some years we St Johns fans would have LOVED to be able to have a season like that, so dont hate. Thats a great program they have. Thats a very good basketball conference that held the title of BEST BB conference for a LONG time, and rightfully so. Not acknowledging these facts makes the individual, and to some respect, the fanbase making the false statements look ignorant!
