Probably the only realistic way at this point to get any positive press for this hire/search. Why not at this point. I’m serious.

If she works for Pop you know she’s a damn good coach, and while some chauvinists will be against it, you know there are some players and moms that will be all about it. Would show we’ve left the 80s and entered the next millennium finally. Espn would be all over us all the time. Worth a shot.

As long as we have candidates that are turning us down, I think it behooves our hiring committee to give equal opportunity to candidates of both genders to turn us down. :) :) :)

Gender aside, she would be just another candidate with no college coaching experience. Can't go that route following Mullin.

That said, she's impressive and going to be the first female NBA coach.

Agreed it would be better to have a college background, but to make it this far she prob is twice as good a coach as most of the men in her position.

Dust slice off, get Borman involved and keep st Jean. When pop retires he can take mitch’s Role. :)

Sure, why not. Probably better than any other "new" candidates they'll come up with.

as an aspiring journalist I have to say the amount of positive press we’d get from this is pretty damn enticing lol

Knowing us, we'd be the first to hire a woman, but it would be the one that the Tennessee Volunteers just ran out of town.
