We've been going head to head with Baylor a lot lately for recruits, including Gathers and Jakarr.
And I know we're all quick to point out the lovely scenery in Waco Texas, but watching them now vs Kansas, this is a very good basketball team. And much improved from when I saw them earlier in January.
Whether they're doing it legally or not I don't know. But even with losing Perry Jones, if they return Qunicy Miller, Deuce Bello, and their pg Jackson.. they have a ton of talent. And they're already signed a stellar class including a top 5 recruit, the 7-footer Austin, Gathers, and a top 75 point guard.
It wouldn't be my first choice, but I'm beginning to see why Baylor might be on a lot of people's lists. They're good. And are probably only getting better.
