Took in the Kentucky-Maryland game last night....Great game...Maryland did great to get back in the game despite woeful outside shooting

Barclays is a nice arena with great acoustics...was a great college atmoshpere with a sell out crowd of Red and Blue (mostly Red)...But, in the end, I just don't think it is MSG...(admittedly unfair to compare at this point)

But, as a Brooklynite, nice to have an arena that is a very quick train ride away...

As for observations from the game...

Kentucky is loaded again...some very talented kids...but obviously not as good as last year...Was impressed with Wiltjer and Goodwin...and the kid Alex Len (7'1" Soph Center) from Maryland was the best inside big in the game...

Yea, and Len pooped all over Nerlens Noel.

or as SNY's Kirk Jimenez called him-nerlens Noll-guess he never heard his name pronounced and doesn't celebrate Christmas.

Took in a Nets game there. Think the arena is fantastic but still see greater value in MSG for our program.

Did anyone drive to barclays? If so any recommendations on parking

Saw barbara streisand there. Parked about 12-15 blocks away in what was the closest lot open. They're set up to run shuttle buses back and forth. Not a pleasant experience. Go by mass transit at this time if you're going there. Maybe the situation will improve over time like newark has. The PruCtr at this point in time is a pleasure to park at compared to Bklyn.

I didnt notice many parking options nearby. Guess you can check bestparking.com. However, unless you absolutely have to drive, take the subway. Its really convenient.

I drove to the Nets' game opening night. It was a piece of cake. There are a lot of lots in the area, and you can reserve spaces through a site that is linked on the Barclays Center website. It's a great arena, and I much prefer it over the Garden, but from a prestige standpoint, St. John's has to remain at MSG.

I haven't been there for an event, but have seen the outside since they started constructing it. I hate the material they used, but can't wait to catch a game there.

They say over time it will change and look better or something.

Who knows.

I sure hope so.
