Balance in D1 hoops.

There seems to be an amazing amount of balance in D1 hoops this year .
Are there that many talented players available so that there are so many
competitive programs across the country .It seems to be that major
powerhouses have 5 & 6 losses at this point in the year . Some really good
programs have gone on 4 or 5 game losing streaks . Is this going to be the
archetype for the future of NCAA hoops ? If it is it looks like the NCAA should
seriously consider increasing the number of teams in the tournament .

More balance but not necessarily more good teams IMO. Or great teams I should say. I think there are less really really good teams. And that plus a lot of other factors has lead to increased parity. I know that I would vote against increasing the number of tourny teams but I don’t think I’d bet against it happening.

Increased parity thanks to NIL and the transfer portal
And G League Ignite and Overtime Elite keeping many top prospects out of college altogether, a number of which don't get drafted but would still have gone to they typical blue bloods and been multi year major contributors.
