Attendance

10K with students on break and against a 1-7 team, not bad at all. Kudos to the students, despite the ugly first half, they were into the game and on their feet the whole time. They even had a "lets go Redmen" chant. ; )

Of course, that 10k is for the entire event (2 games). I'm sure there were people amongst that total who were there for Iona-Rutgers, who were at the bars for the first game. That being said, I stayed for the nightcap, and there were many more people in the stands at our game. But, true attendance for our game was more like 7 or 8k, I would guess.

10k included Fordham, Rutgers and Iona fans but we did have the most fans and the student turnout was the best in a long time as they were behind both baskets.

No doubt great crowd considering it was only Fordham. After seeing the blackout vs. SC and this game at MSG, I think we can expect lots of energetic crowds vs. G'Town and others.

still not bad for a team like Fordham...although it is disappointing to see empty seats in sections that are obviously designated for season ticket holders..also dispapointing that so many of our fans just sit with arms folded and its not just about age...I am a 38 year season ticket holder and have no problem being vocal...

Great job by student section last night

I had tix for the 200's section and an MSG attendant was by the 200 escalator taking our tickets and giving us better tix in the 100's. So they had some fans like myself down in the 100's to fill unsold seats. I'm not sure if they normally do this or not but I didn't mind the seat upgrade.

They normally don't. I want to think its good in a way. But I also would like to know if they plan to credit some of my season ticket price when a person who paid for 200 level seats is sitting next to me.

Like insider trading, the attendants seem to know unsold section/seats. They expect a tip.....hope you were generous.
