As we know too well, lists are just lists.
Here’s to a breakthrough 2018-19 season.
A Big Apple harvest.
Here’s to CM leading St. John’s deep into the Dance.

Even I , as a ardent supporter of CM, agree this Season must result in a NCAA bid , a top 3 finish in the BE and maybe even a spot in the BE Tourney finals . I think the team he will put on the floor is capable iof that .., Heron being the X factor . With him, we may even challenge Nova for the top Conference rung .

If we add in Niagara, it might be a Triple Vincentian Play ? St John’s and DePaul seemed to lose their identity about 20 years ago in B.B. Ray Meyer and Louie were tough acts to follow .

The writer who prepared the article apparently did not research his opinions because it was announced on May 3rd that Penn State had provided a contract extension through the 2021- 22 season to Coach Pat
Chambers.

Top 5 and make it do the dance and that’s a good year for me and with Heron it wouldn’t surprise me if we ended up a lot better than that

Mullin has finally recruited some depth. There's no way we should have been so reliant on Lovett that his absence cost us a season.

1- many of these magazines go to print pretty early.
2- a contract extension has never stopped a coach from being fired. It could have lowered his buyout, raised his buyout, or many other nuances of the deal.

Not to mention extension could be cosmetic for recruiting purposes with guaranteed years and buyout being key.
