In the NFL, blacks make up 70% of the players. The entire black population is 14%. Am I missing something? I'm all for best man wins the job without affirmative action, but if we are going to use it to make things more diverse, why aren't we talking about how whites are 60% and only make up 30% of NFL players (way fewer are RB's and WR's) or how whites are about 20% of the NBA players (blacks are 80%)? What about asians? What about latinos? This is only to help one group...that much is obvious.
Thoughts?
