Interesting article about Dayton facing challenges with guard oriented attack. Granted the A10 does not have much size, but I thought Archie's philosophy & approach to being short handed was solid. Miller is cut from same cloth as his brother Sean and dad, John, a legend in Pa. HS hoops. He'll be an outstanding coach in a major conference soon.

Watched Dayton beat St Bonaventure by 17 last night on the road. After averaging 3.8 made 3s per game and losing their 2 big men they have made 53 3s in last 5 games including 14 last night. They also can really drop some dimes, pass the rock, share the sugar as we like to say.

Scoochie Smith wasn't good enough to play for SJU.

Averaging 8.1PPG, 4.1APG, 2.9RPG, 1.4SPG, shooting 45% from 3 in 29 minutes per game as a Soph.

But our highly-ranked Texas A&M transfer was a must get.

Amazing.

Why are you comparing him with Branch when Branch was here before he even graduated High School? A better comparison would be Jordan since they both are in the same class.

Where you against Branch coming here when he transferred in?

Good preparation for what he'll be facing next yr in his 1st season as St. Johns coach. Lav will not have left him with much to work with.
