Was just looking for updates on him. Looks like he is missing 3+ months due to a plea deal going through some program (he was arrested over the summer). As I watched video, I was impressed, but it seems the players he was playing against were only 5'11 or 6 ft tall. Carr is said to be 5'6 by some and 5'7 by others. IMO there is no way he is dominant at the Big East level when he will have guys more than 1 foot taller than him swatting balls away and refusing to let him near the hoop. Height doesn't matter much when you are 6'7 or 6'9, but when you are 5'6 or 5'7, that is HUGE. He won't be able to use his street ball skill set against mammoths almost 7 ft tall and defenses as quick as him. I kind of feel bad for Seton Hall. They had a great year, and Carr is their only hope. Best case scenario he misses a few months and comes back. Worst case scenario, he gets the ship revoked or doesn't do the program and gets prosecuted.

Carr is not their only hope. Sterling Gibbs transferred back home after a year in Texas. He has to sit out this year but should be ready to takeover next year. A year of practicing and working on his game can only help him.

Yeah, it they don't have much high level talent elsewhere on the court either. After this season they'll have to replace Edwin and more. Sterling Gibbs is ok, but not going to lead them to the promised land.

Edwin's a junior. (I don't believe there are any seniors on the team.) Are you suggesting he's opting for the draft after this season?
