I love hearing about Jordan's defense. This quote about Jordan by Greene is awesome on so many levels: ''Wait until you see him,'' Greene said. ''I go against him in practice. His defense is even more impressive than his offense and his offense is great.''

Both Greene and Lavin's comments are very impressive. I liked Jordan as a player from the beginning. I think he's a surefire pro and will actually be a big timer at the next level with his size and athleticsm. He's going to be a huge boon for this team.

Lack of defense is usually the biggest limiting factor for talented freshman contributing right away. It si just impossible to predict what kids will buy in and what kids won't. I am very glad to see these reports early on. Between this and the new rule changes, he could have a much bigger impact than I anticipated. I can't imagine many guys being able to stay with him without be able to keep a hand or forearm on him like years past.
