Just glanced at the roster of first, second, third teams and honorable mentions... No BE players on the ALL 3 TEAMS.

Arch, Dunn, Henton were honorable mention.. No DLO.. WHICH IS HARD TO FATHOM, GIVEN HIS STATS ALONE. Martez Harrison from UMKC was honorable mention but, not DLO? C'mon..


Meanwhile and no disrespect to players from school's like Wisconsin- GB, St FRANCIS -NY were included.

My opinion is that Val Ackerman, the BE staff, the School's themselves and Fox Sports have a lot of work to do in the Publicity Department if this is all the respect this LEAGUE IS GETTING.

Players who made the BE All Star Teams should at least get a Honorable Mention on a ALL American list.

Big East had a great season but tournament is what people care about and we didn't show up. Unfortunately we'll be viewed this way until we find success in the tournament. Just how it is.

SJU, like Villanova (with Wright and history) and Georgetown (history and strong academics), needs to differentiate itself and become one of the top teams every year. People say Fox is an issue mostly because of visibility, but we have the NYC media market, MSG, and looking like an excellent staff. Visibility shouldn't be an issue for us. I want the Big East to do well but more importantly SJU to be one of the best teams. No reason we shouldn't be.

A strong SJU also would in turn help the league significantly, such as selling out MSG for the tournament. I think our game vs. Georgetown this year had a higher attendance than the Nova vs. Xavier final.
