Any Update on Directv and Fox Sports?

:angry: If Directv doesn't pick up Fox Sports (Speed Channel) what cable stations have? I certainly will not stick with Directv if they don't carry St. John's basketball.

Directv has FOX Sports 2 on ch 618 so where is 1? :unsure:
 
Verizon has FS1 in HD. I think they will pick up FS2 but in SD only for now.

If you had Speed Channel before it should have changed to FS1. They have agreements with all major providers and DTV is one of them. Have you called DTV to ask what channel it is? I personally don't have DTV but maybe another poster can help out and direct you to # of the channel.
 
By the way, I know FS1 is on Cablevision, but what about FS2?

I spoke with someone at Cablevision
Fox Sports 2 will be offered to Cablevision subscribers but it will not be part of the "basic" cable package as FS1 is
You will either have to buy a separate "sports package" or have the "IO Gold" package in order to get FS2

I actually got confused by Jack calling it Fox Sports instead of Fox Sports 1 so Directv as usual gets everything. :)
 
Both pictures look great to me on Directv....Fox Sports 1 on 219 and Fox Sports 2 on 618 in beautiful HD has gotten me pumped for the upcoming season

Me too. I am really pumped for the upcoming season as a DirectTV customer. The mobile app has me especially psyched.
 
The Directv mobile app? Can we stream Fox Sports 1 or 2 live on the Directv app?

I have the DirectTV app, but I was referring to the Fox Sports app that was part of an earlier announcement. I can't remember exactly how it was described, but I remember thinking it was going to be very similar the amazing ESPN app.
