Should be a great event aside from Carton , he is a total douche.

Please stop being so wishy washy and please let us know how you really feel about Carton.

Yes, I was there last evening. At least 250 attended (and yes, Mike Repole was there).

BEST event St. John's has ever produced, and I've been to quite a few of them. Everyone associated with putting together last night's program deserves a big round of applause. They sure crossed all their T's and dotted all thier I's. A job very well done.

Among those present was the original TRUTH, Walter Berry. Spent a fair amount of time speaking with him. If there is a nicer guy on the planet I haven't met him. Said if he had to do it all over again he would have stayed for his senior year.

Mullin and Lou, as one would expect, were great. Chris was extremely humble and very gracious.

Boomer and Carton were terrific . For the most part CC behaved himself. They did start the program asking why 2 guys from Syracuse and Maryland were at a St. John's event. I fully expected them (OK, Carton) to say something about Francesa but he was ignored.

Coach Dunlap, Coach Kim, and Coach Keady were also excellent during a Q&A. Hubie Brown had to cancel last minute for personal reasons.

Spectacular and live silent auctions. School raised a lot money.

Fr. Harrington said he is committed to succes on the court for both the men's and women's programs. He said he really ejoyed it at a recent Big East President's meeting when they showed a slide of St. John's having teams in both the men's and women's NCAA tournament this past season.

For those of us with mortgages and kids to raise, they did not have any $10.00 dollar seats?

all the best

PS I am also not a Carton fan, too crude and so narrowly focused but perhaps it's a generational thing.
