I heard on tonights game from one of the ESPN annoucers that Amir is not a scholarship player and his tuition is being paid by the Reds. If this is true is that the "extra" scholarship that has been theorized? I know we thought since he was "recruited" he had to count in the number of scholarships. Correct or incorrect info?

It's not correct. The Reds might be footing the bill but he's still a scholarship player and counts toward our 13

Correct. It was one of may errors the announcers made last night regarding scholarships, eligibility and availability. While I understand they do a lot of games, they do get notes and ask questions. At least make an effort to get it right.

Who did the game with Jay Williams?

Bob Picozzi

Gotcha. He's been lost for a number of years.

Was Tim Welsh there? He was on one of my return flights from Charleston.

Picozzi does his share of games via the Big East Network.

Welsh was the color analyst during our game versus C of C.
