hats off to you for getting through your schooling. I'm only on page 28 of school law and my brain is fried. Spent half the time looking up words I didn't know like en banc and writs of mandamus. Glad this is a summer class. (=

In the immortal words of Jim Valvano, "don't give up, don't ever give up".

Stay away from law school, unless it truly is your dream to be a lawyer. Otherwise, there are plenty of other options.

Not in law school. I am working on my principal's license. School law is a required class. Interesting class, I just have a huge learning curve with legal terminology.

Don't be a principal either
I was a high school principal for 20 years
One of the worst jobs ever created on earth
Hindsight being 20-20, I should have taught and coached for my entire career
I loved doing that!! Being a principal - not so much
Lesson learned - when you love doing something, don't walk away from it so quickly

I took School Law with the Cold Spring Harbor Superintendent. He was great! He was interested in the attendance policy I developed for both high schools in my school district. Cold Spring Harbor having attendance problems? Interestingly enough these affluent young people would take off months at a time on vacation without notifying the school.
