Seeing Barrett kill it so far had me wondering and now I'm seeing posts about Kyle Cuffe Jr and saw a post about James Scott kid at temple or something.

It seems like our players churn out some pretty good kids as players. Seems like even mores than other schools but I could be wrong about that

What other former players ( doesn't even have to be basketball even other St Johns sports ) but what other players have we had that spawned off kids that played High D1 or potentially will play high D1.

Who was the kid that went to NC State around Mullins first or second year ? Maverick something ?

LeRon Ellis, son of SJU great Leroy Ellis, was a beast in high school who went to Kentucky and transferred to Syracuse where he played with Coleman, Owens, etc. in the early 90s.
 
West Point's Kevin Houston, the son of Jerry Houston (Class of 1965)

Kevin won the Haggerty Award and I believe he either led the country in scoring his senior year or was among the top scorers in the country.

Also although not basketball, Billy Schaefer's and Frank Gilroy's sons were very good hockey players at Boston U,

Frank's son played for the Rangers after graduation.

John Franco's son, J.J., played baseball for Brown
