I've been an avid reader and occassional poster for 20 years. Thank you all for making this THE website for St. John's basketball. I just wanted to use this post/thread as an appreciation for the posters I find entertaining/thoughtful/informative. This is not meant to be a knock on anyone not included or divisive in anyway. I'm truly appreciative of the entire community.

Head Coach: Paul- No brainer. Thank you for creating this site and keeping it alive all these years.

Starting 5 (we're playing positionless basketball here):
-Paultzman: The information hub within an information hub.
-Moose: One of the vets. Clear eyed perspective.
-Panther2: Locked into the local hoops scene. Invaluable contributor
-Beast of the East: Don't always agree with him, but his takes (basketball at least) are well grounded in logic
-mjmaherjr: The glue guy of the board. A worldwide brand ambassador, his levity and passion brings the board together

Bench:
MCNPA: Crafty vet who makes solid decisions and doesn't turn the ball voer
Adam: Ultimate role player. Go to guy for bracketology
OLV72: Always appreciate his humor and perspective

All-Time Team (in no particular order): ESPKen, Otis, Tom in Simsbury, Northshore, Maven, Fun (I know, I know), RJRJR/Bobre (they count as one), Marillac (until the last couple months)
 
MVP = Paul Massell .... without whom the site would not exist.

Matty, great, fun post! Especially during these challenging times. I love your selections and your reasoning behind them! I think a post as fun and creative as this automatically puts you on the "All Redmen.com Team!"

That would have been an all-time great if true

Team Video Coordinator- Monte " in between film sessions he substitutes his acting gigs and Teeter Infomercials and 80's Porn "

Athletic Director " JSJ " No better representative of the team and gets things done and can mingle and raise money better than any of us with the big donors. Will definitely deliver on air conditioning for Carnesseca

Team Trainer-Mike Zaun. Has anyone grown out of a medium tee shirt quicker without it being alcohol and white castle induced ?

Team Photographer NYCRedmen. Apparently team videographer Monte ends up in more pictures than the rest of the team. Heard yelling to NYC " Give me more f'ing headshots !!

KNIGHT definitely belongs on the team as well and I thank him for managing the game by game participation and stats. Of course I appreciate all posters past and present because as long as you are St. John's basketball fan you are OK by me!

Win, lose or draw (Creighton, although that should be a win), the first thing I read after the game is Knight's post-game statistical recap. The box score is there, it seems, within seconds. I remember the old days waiting at home for the Long Island Press to be delivered, just to see the box score from a St. John's game the night before. I also echo 72's thoughts that every person that takes the time to express their thoughts, almost always in a civil manner, makes the site interesting reading. We all need to be distracted at this time just to keep us sane.

Definitely need to expand the team and add at least 10 more bench or roll players. Plenty of good posters here who deserve to be Recognized for making the site a great read.

Next thing we know everyone will make the team and of course get a trophy.

Maybe instead take this as motivation to try and make the next All Pandemic Team.
