Akina Wellere who previously committed to Marquette and decommitted two weeks ago just called the staff to say she will be moving from Chicago and heading east to Queens next summer.
She is a 5 9 2/3 who shoots the three very well. Very similiar to recently graduated Briana Brown in terms of size and game but even more skilled than Briana.
She is rated as a 90 skill level by ESPN and is listed as the 19th best player at her position. She is listed in the top 100-150 players in the class of 2015.
Similiar to Jordan Augustus in that both know how to put the ball in the hoop.
Another very very good pickup for the ladies program for 2015.
