Some of you old-school fans may want to put in a bid on Joe Lapchick model sneakers from waaaay back. You'd look pretty sharp strutting around Carnesecca Arena in these bad boys...

Looks like something that is back in fashion with today's young kids.
 
Wow!  My first sneakers (around 1957) were Joe Lapchicks.  I knew I should have held on to them...
 
 
I did not know he had a shoe named after him.  
 
At one time Joe Lapchick was just about the biggest name in Basketball, college or pro.

There was a time when college basketball dwarfed pro basketball in popularity.

Neither BB, pro or college, ever came close to pro Baseball back then.
