ADR

I've seen him play for Illinois this season on TV
He's a back up center and probably gets about 10 minutes/game
He looks a lot different than when he was at St John's - lost a lot of weight
Got a bachelor's degree and is now pursuing a Master's
Good for him!! Glad to hear that he's done well for himself!!

I always feel good about an athlete in a marquee sport who earns his degree while playing a sport. Their future career opportunities zoom once they attain their degrees.

Two of nmn our very best players in our history both earned a considerable amount of money playing basketball, yet both Mullin and Berry returned to st. John's to earn their degrees.

I hate the graduate transfer rule which waives the requirement to sit nm out a season, but if that in any way provides incentive to some athletes to attain their degrees, then I'm all for it.

Good for ADR. Great article and it's very clear that he is a very bright young man who has worked hard at everything he does.
