St. John's AD Mike Cragg has received a contract extension through the 25-26 season, per release.

St. John’s now has leadership in place for sustainability in Queens. New president Fr. Brian Shanley is all in on athletics and showed that in the way he built Providence College athletics at his previous stop. As for Mike Cragg, he’s done a lot of good in a short period of time

The extension is well earned.  Sitting next to Louie and Father Shanley in sold out MSG as top ten ranked St.John's moves in to first place in the Big East is the gift he deserves.
 
A President who openly supports athletics, a highly competent AD with a long term contract and a highly regarded and very successful head men's basketball coach.

Finally, an excellent formula for future success for St John's University!!!!

Hopefully this will help in the continuance of scheduling Duke, as much as I hate them it is national coverage.

Now that is a start.  Vision, plan/strategize, fund raise (including tasteful sponsorship) and build/renovate facilities that are fully functional, and carefully thought out that won't be outdated by the time they are constructed.
 
This is the most important recruit we've signed.  Hopefully he doesn't enter the portal in a couple of years /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png
 
Mike loves St. John's, identifies with our alumni community , and has really adjusted well to living in NYC.    His first deal was a 3 year deal (obviously) and Father Shanley arrived just in time to quickly focus on extending Mike.    I hope he got a good bump in pay, but I am still pretty certain MC could earn a lot more elsewhere.   Glad to have him here for the next 5 years.   Great no hesitation decision on Father Shanley's part to recognize Cragg as a key person not only for the athletic department but for the university.
