Over 3,000 high school students and their families attended yesterday's Accepted Student's Day.

All time record number attending the event.

Thanks JSJ...

high attendance rates for the event might bode well for potentially greater # of those a
accepted and ultimately enroll. That's an important metric.

I hope they continue to keep postiive momentum on the admissions standards (standardized test scores, gpa etc).

Do you know if any of them happen to be 4 or 5 STAR hoopsters? ;) :)

During his remarks, Dr. Gempesaw shared information about the admitted class. More than 27,000 applications have been received to date for an available 3,000 slots for the fall 2018 entering class. The average SAT score of accepted students is nearly 1200, and the average high school grade point average is 90—making the academic credentials for this year’s admitted class the highest and most stellar in the past several years.

Thanks JSJ,

The admitted SAT score getting closer to 1200 is a good indicator... I believe admitted and enrolled figure last year iwas 1150 and I'd assume that figure to be lower than just admitted alone..

Will be interested to see what the acceptance rate is and if that comes down a bit.
