There has been a lot of activity on the site lately, both positive (excitement about the upcoming season) and frustrated/anxious/negative (about the reseating process). That means that a lot of posters have been frequent visitors and more importantly for purposes of this thread, commenters.

This forum is a bit like reading a book (something most of the people here are old enough to remember) - you develop a picture in your mind about what the character looks like. Then somebody makes a movie from the book and you either say "yeah, they nailed that, that's exactly what I pictured the character to be" or you say "they either didn't read the same book as I did or their casting director sucked."

Over time, from reading their posts, I've gotten a picture in my head of what various posters look like (Disclaimer: I've also met a bunch of them in real life, but I didn't let that detract from this exercise of the imagination). I don't know if other people's mental images of posters are the same or different, but I thought I would share some of mine.

Obviously this is all just for fun, and not everyone is included because some of you present a very small target for me to shoot at, and I limited the work here to folks I had a very clear mental picture of.

Hope this provides a few laughs and maybe some counter-programming in "the dog days of August."

This is great. Your mental images were better than mine. Always keeping it light LMF. Good stuff

Moses?

According to tradition, Moses’ parents, Amram and Jochebed (whose other children were Aaron and Miriam), hid him for three months and then set him afloat on the Nile in a reed basket daubed with pitch.

I was told my parents tried to do that to me in the East River but they thought better of it. They couldn't locate enough pitch.

Moose’s parents were about to let him go but the east river was so moody it said take him back 😀
