9 Time Big East Regular Season Champions !

Congrats fellas, keep up the good work!! They are projected as a 3 seed in the tournament. Met Ryan Hogans parents last year at my brothers little league game, very nice people.

The postseason run is off to a good start, with a 5-2 win over Georgetown today. We play the winner of Seton Hall-Butler in a non-elimination game, tomorrow at 6:30 pm. That will be a big one, because if we win it, we then only need to win one game on Sunday to win the tournament. A loss, and we have to win once on Saturday, and twice on Sunday to claim the title.

Apologies for the self-quoting, but Butler defeated Seton Hall 2-1, in 13 innings. So, we play Butler at 6;30 tomorrow night. Hopefully, the long game tonight exhausted their bullpen.

Second to UCONN for highest ranked NE team. Even though we had better record guess they played a tougher schedule.
Luv to beat UCONN in anything & everything. A game of ‘solitaire’ would suffice.

I have really bad reception at Ohare but looks like we are winning 4-2 in the second.
up 12-2 in the seventh
Still up 12-7 in the ninth, but getting a little dicey. Butler has bases loaded, and no one out.

Ballgame over, Johnnies win, THHHHAAA Johnnies win!!! 12-8 the final, as we got a double play, followed by a strikeout.

Now we move automatically into Sunday, against the winner of tomorrow's Butler-Seton Hall elimination game. However, we only have to win one game, while either one of those teams would have to beat us twice on Sunday. Game time is 1 pm on FS2.

If they win the conference tournament they might be on the bubble for a 2 seed.

The Pirates it will be as they hang on to beat Butler 4-3 with tying run left on third in the ninth.
