Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU Jersey Shore Johnny!!!! The event was terrific and had a chance to meet some former players, current coaches, and David Robertson. Had a great time at the table and even walked away with an auction item!!!! Greatly enjoyed the cocktails and food as well. Looking forward to a great season and I am excited for the future of SJU Hoops!!!! Thanx again.
 
Thank you Jersey Shore Johnny for a wonderful evening. I t was very nice to connect with some former players. Had a long conversation with Terry Bross. Seeing some students that are very involved in cheering our team made me smile also.

David Robertson? Nice that the Yankees sent somebody!
 
Jersey Shore Johnny is a great ambassador for St. John's and an even greater human being. For those on this site who have not had the pleasure of meeting fellow site members, consider going to an alumni event or basketball reception this year. There are some truly great people on this site that you'd be privileged to meet in person. I am now on a text group with some fellow Redmen.com folks and it's quite entertaining. Also great seeing Beast last night as well. More importantly last night St. John's raised a record $435K. Can't wait for the season to begin.
 
Although this was a pricey event, it would really serve most fans good to attend a venue where St. John's shines brilliantly. The tip off dinner was one of those. So many great, generous fans were there, and the athletic department, coaches and administrators engaged all warmly during the evening, especially during the cocktail hour.

I saw NYCRedmen (who called out to me) and Panther, and JSJ - all even better in person than on here.

There are many free or less expensive events where users here can meet and get to know each other beyond some of the caustic rhetoric that often pervades fan websites. I've met so many of you and like each person I've met in person.

What we really are is a great community, and trust me, St. John's is improving leaps and bounds daily.

Was that you, Mike? :lol:[/quote] no I’m the one that left you the voicemail about your great uncle from London who tragically passed away in Zimbabwe recently but left you as the soul heir to his 100 million dollar fortune. If you either send me 10k in Bitcoin or in Giftcards I’ll be able to help you settle the estate. My condolences on your loss
