The third annual St. John's Oktoberfest will be held at Plattduetsche Park Restaurant in Franklin Square, Long Island on October 10th, from 12 - 5pm. Cost is $40. You must RSVP by October 2nd.

I'm going to West Point that day, but if I wasn't I'd be there in a heartbeat. For anybody who has never been, Plattduetsche is fantastic. Great beer and the food is out of this world.

That being said, nothing compares to the real thing. Oktoberfest in Munich is an absolute must for all you beer lovers out there.
