The 3 rd Annual St John's Homecoming Basketball Tournament is set for November 2 nd, 1pm at Taffner. You do not have to be an Alumnus to play.
$50 to play. ALL students play for free. 100% of the proceeds go towards the Balance Leader Scholarship. The first scholarship was given out at last years tournament to Alyssa Collado who is set to graduate St John's in 2027. Proud to annouce we are giving out our 2nd Scholarship at this years tournament. If you can't pay $50, and want to play you can talk to me.
Teams are made randomly. All levels of competition play. This is just as much as a networking event as it is a tournament, you never know who you might meet.
1st place , 2 nd place, 3rd place trophies. Plus the Mark Jackson MVP trophy. Trophies are provided from Alumnus Tom Adams owner of Mineola Trophies.
3 point shootout competition with $500, $300, $200 prize during the tournament.
Raffle during the tournament with sports memorabilla from different teams throughout New York and beyond. Along with many more items. 100% of the proceeds goes towards the Scholarship.
Food will be provided for free. Kegs will be provided courtesy of Alumnus James Sykes from Flagship Brewing
