Any chance that a certain bench player (from Mali) who has been nursing an injury might be activated for the second half year?
 
No idea, but doubt they would throw him into Big East fire.

I'd assume he'd also lose full year of eligibility.

Good assumption of course if he plays the second half of the season he loses a year of eligibility.
 
He is still rehabbing and not cleared for physical contact/full practice last I heard. Even if he was able to practice, I doubt they would activate him. And we are not the Yankees who did take a step back in 2016 to presumable be ready to compete for playoffs/word series in 2018. Competing happened a year earlier than they expected.
 
Thanks. I knew Boubacar was rehabbing and doubted he was practicing with the team. And if not--even if fully healed--he'd need to be fully immersed into offensive and defensive sets which would take some time. Plus, he may ooze with potential but he needs coaching and time on the court. Would be bad fo him and don't see a big uplift for SJU to rush him back.
