What are your favorite memories of #21?
Mine was the ultimate upset - the Runnin' Redmen taking down No. 1 Seed Ohio State to advance to the 1991 Elite 8.
Lou let the team run to beat he Buckeyes' press and it was glorious. All around team effort but Malik did everything that night to ensure the win.

Just being a good guy in class and on campus. Kranmars and I went to school with that class and Kran definitely was also around him a lot.
He was just a nice humble dude. Kind of soft spoken. So was JB.
Traczok has the best story. When he was playing for Minny he was playing in Cali and I forget if it was just random or an autograph event and Traczok was wearing sju gear and Malik asked him for his number and they went out to lunch the next day
Those who even kinda knew him wouldn’t be shocked at that story
