With all respect to these 3, I think it would be too hard to predict each of their individual production separately and to have much of a discussion.
I also think it’s fair to say this is #s 9-11 on the depth chart some order at this point.
- Odih has been the talk of the town, and somewhat surprising given he’s a freshmen and Coach Pitino isn’t all that known to trust them. He’s got the build and potential to make an impact on the court in several ways this year.
- Speaking of trust - Ayo might be the one player we know Rick trusts the most to throw out there at any given situation. Hes been with him for 4 years, he’s got the size and athleticism to slide in at this level and fill holes. Will he take another step this year?
- Lefty got spot minutes last year, and like Ayo, Rick definitely showed that he trusted him. Many times as a situational shooter but not only that. I think it’s a tough ask for a kid like Lefty to miss the entire summer with the full rest of the roster and then make up ground come September. Especially for someone who doesn’t impose himself physically. The rest of his competition can shoot this year. I remain a very big fan and hope we have him for 4 years.
