Hard to believe the Number 1 seed(us) gets to play on 12 noon on Thursday on Peacock .

But , the Evening Quarter Finals are on FS1 that night .

Ridiculous . No one ever said Sports Programmers or any Media have any common sense .

Let’s show the number 1 seed on Peacock at 12 noon . With a Audience that will be less than the Attendance at the Garden .

I guess some of you still working will catch the game in some Bar at lunch time on Pea Cock

I’m lucky . Going to a friends house who has Pea
Cock to watch with several other guys . None of them are St John’s alums or big fans .
I enticed them by bringing the Refreshments .

I'm as big a Johnnie fan as anyone but realistically an SJU noon game against PC or Butler is not going to be a big draw to the average fan so not surprised that one is on Peacock. I'm actually pleased since I can't get up to NYC for the game and I find Peacock coverage of college hoops to be pretty good. FS1 on the other hand can be spotty.

I'm still pinching myself that we finally don't play annually on Wednesday. Two years in a row!

Good points , NCJ . I guess I look at it differently . We are the number Team in the League and playing anyone at 12 noon on Peacock seems baffling from a viewership perspective .

I doubt Peacock has the number of subscribers vs the audience that FS 1 has .

I don’t have Peacock but , accept your recommending it over FS1 from a transmission of signal quality .

One would think seeing St John’s at night Vs 12noon against , either Butler or PC , regardless of their records .

But , it’s just my opinion .

With all due respect there were years not so long ago we didn't even make the big east tournament

And now we are going to wreck some teams preferably Uconn
The 99-00 season happened right before my fandom began, and I've only heard stories of how we beat UConn 3 times that year including the Big East final. Would be a dream come true for me to see that happen again.

This was all decided contractually before the season it has nothing to do with match ups.

Recognizing that teams are already highly motivated to play in post season tournaments, could we put a larger bullseye on our backs than singing about cutting down nets on Jimmy Fallon?

I am not a big fan of providing bulletin board material.
Neither am I but I am a huge fan of free publicity which we got on National tv to a completely different audience.

The night we played Yukon for the Big East Tournament my cable went down at halftime. Didn’t come back on until after the end of the game. As happy as I was I was so pissed I didn’t get to see the game. Some kind of a storm that night. Lavor Postell played well that night if I remember correctly. At least from what I heard on the radio.

Yes, that would be the upside to the downside I mentioned.

If they could have just omitted the cutting down nets part, we could have had it all.
