2024/25 Bracketology

Lunardi, at this extremly early stage, putting us as a 5 seed in the midwest, but due to the pod system, we would playing our first game(s) in Providence.

We can only hope.

Good times on Thayer Street. Would be a fun weekend! I’m guessing the RIC and Providence College Girls do not do massage like old days 🤔

11 Big 10 Schools ?
Yes , it’s a expanded Conference but , the Big 10 hasn’t been much of a threat for NCAA
Championships for quite a while . Basketball wise , that is .

PAC 10 was no longer the Bill Walton designated” Conference of Champions” for quite a while

So much for Lunardi predicting . Guess he’s got to do something to justify his gig not being much more than a 6 month job .

Purdue was in the national championship game last month.
Purdue also was a early exit on the 2 previous NCAA tourneys .
They clearly showed they didn’t belong on the same Court with UCONN this year

I’m too busy to look , Retirement takes up a lot of time , but I think Purdue had a pretty easy path through the Tournament . Most Number 1 seeds get a favorable draw .

My point was , as a Conference the Big 10 is mostly a paper Tiger . Compared to the BE .

And , please don’t refer to our loss to a awful Michigan team very early in the Season as evidence of Big 10 superiority .

They don’t deserve the number of bids they get every year . Neither does the ACC . Or , Mountain West .

And , while I’m at , how come Gonzaga and St Mary’s get bids every year ?
How many Quality Wins does St Mary’s get ? Who did they beat ? They don’t play any heavy weights , outside their league ? Which isn’t a league of heavy weights to begin with .

Lunardi is obviously giving us a head start in blaming Ackerman for the Big East being screwed out of tourney bids because she is a weak commissioner.
The day Lunardi was dropped from jockey school and sequed to his bracketology gig was a sad one.
