2014-15 Midnight Madness

According to this article it is scheduled for the weekend of Oct 17th. Haven't heard anything official from the school though, anyone have any info?

NCAA ruled last year that midnight madness could begin a couple of weeks earlier and also that practices could begin in (late?) September. Good news all around in my opinion.

What is meant by Midnight Madness nowadays is not necessarily the “start” of Fall practice but really just a coordinated “hyped” night of basketball “practice.”

Remember as a way of initiating the first season of Fox Sports 1 and the Big East they set up a “Midnight Madness” event on 10/25 in which they would have cameras and reports done from all 9 BE school campuses.

My guess is they are doing the exact same thing this year, a weekend earlier, and again calling it “Midnight Madness.” Lots of students and big TV audience to hype the season and then throw in some visiting recruits.
