20 Most Valuable Div. 1 Basketball Programs

Yeah. OK. So Kansas State has a value that's more then UK's basketball program. Value is determined by potential revenue, actual revenue, infrastructure, and the perceived image of the team. Multiple time national champion where the best of te best kids go with a 24,000 seat arena and a massive following not only in their home state but liked by a lot of fans coast to coast due to their history and current style of play is beaten out by the second best school in a tiny state with little national following who plays in a 14,000 seat arena with much less merch sales (that's from my own statistics...called the eye test) who just lost their head coach to South Carolina. I wonder what this guy is on...

the eye opener is northwestern in the top 20 ...i don't think they've ever been to the ncaa tournament.

Big East ranked lower overall mainly being brought down by the smaller schools, which is what these schools moving on are trying to get away from.

When DePaul builds their new arena, they will move up in Chicago and probably displace Northwestern based upon the criteria.
