1999 Sweet Sixteen vs. Maryland

A few things about this video:

- On a couple of occasions, the CBS affiliate (and this is from a Maryland fan, so I'm guessing DC area) cuts to the other game being played at the time (once in the first half for about 30 seconds, but a much longer time in the second half, after we went up by 20-plus - they come back after Maryland made a run).

- There is some weird camera work on this video from the under 16 media TO of the second half, to the under 12 media TO. It's probably what keeps the Youtube police away.

- The final minute and a half of the game is not here.

Thanks for the link. This was a great win. I often forget about it since the next game is the one against Ohio State. We had them and they got off the hook. Should have made the Final Four. Thought we were going.

Red and Penn were great, but the one i keep thinking about is that sob ken Johnson and his 12 blocks.

It's even crazier to imagine who was or could've been on the '98-'99 team.

Anthony Glover had to sit out as a partial qualifier. Ernest Brown (a top 70 recruit) ended up going to JUCO, as he also would've been a freshman on that particular team. The late James Felton would've been a sophomore.

Imagine if things had suitably played out. We could very well had ourselves a national championship.
