I saw that article and it is so true. I have a friend who is a graphic designer and is super talented and it's crazy how underpaid he is for his skill

The last part is so true. If you want to major in Psych and make money, you better go to grad school and get your MS or PhD. A lot of people assume Psychologists don't make much, but Clinical, School, and Industrial/Organizational Psychologists all start at 60-65k...70k if you decide to work summers if in a school.

Nurses in New York City start at $70,000.00 right out of undergrad school.  With overtime some are making almost $100,000.00. Graduates from the Physicians Asst. Program at St. Johns start at around $80,00.00
These jobs have very low unemployment rates.

our own MCNPA can attest to this firsthand.

Only problem is that nobody wants to pay for healthcare. Government really crunching hospitals now on reimbursements. The system is in trouble. I think there might be 1 or 2 hospitals in NYS actually making some money now. Even that might be a stretch. There will always be demand for healthcare jobs, but quality will continue to decline if hospitals don't have the cash flow to hire enough workers.
