Well playing the P5 teams will worry me come March if I don't see any improvement vs. them now.

Some worry more than others. I’m less worried with the current staff as opposed to previous ones.
The lesson learned is not to buy into the preseason hype about being a Final 4 team based on the portal “names” landed. Chemistry usually trumps player ratings. Rick has his work cut out for him, but he very well may get things on track heading into conference play.

Obviously any game against this caliber of opponent is very important but this one is especially important because if we lose it our Wednesday matchup is against a fellow 0-2 team which will probably be someone like Rutgers, Notre Dame, Syracuse, UNLV etc and that just won’t be a resume boosting win at all

Wow that is way higher than I thought it would be. That’s gotta get bet down a bit
One thing I like about this game is this isn’t a losers bracket situation so we aren’t playing a team who also lost today.
With that being said, I expect us to play like the more desperate team from the tap tomorrow and will be disappointed if that isn’t the case

I know ! I would be all over that if I was impartial.
I we have to wait until conference play to get this team on track, then we’ll be 1-5 against P5 schools and unless we go 18-2 in conference again we will have limited our ceiling with regard to seeding already at that point.
This is a must win game.
A win if we contain Drew and Carr.

We are 0-3 against the highly ranked teams if you include Michigan. It doesn’t matter what the score was or what excuses anyone can come up with. At some point, you have to win a game against a ranked OOC team. Period, full stop.
