I’ve never met him or spoke with him but I’ve seen via my Twitter feed that he passed away. Many SJU fans are commenting and sharing stories. 2 days ago he was tweeting about Sellers.

Don't know him but he was one of the few kids who was always in the student section behind basket at Carnesecca during Mullin & CMA years. That's dedication.

A few friends and I dubbed him “Lil Bill” as he kinda took the reins after I retired from the student section. Didn’t know him much except for some mostly in passing conversations at a basketball game but he was truly a gem. One of the kindest, most wholesome dudes you’ll ever meet and he truly bled ALL St. John’s red no matter the sport. The world and especially the St. John’s family is worse off today than it was yesterday. Sending prayers and comfort to his family during this awful time. RIP to a true Johnnie

The guy was a legend in the student section. Attended all SJU athletic events. He bled SJU red. Gone way to soon. Rest in Peace DJ

He was a die hard , and an amazing person . I’m truly sad and shocked about this . May he RIP , and condolences to the family. May god bless his family

I recognize him as I have seen him around but never met him. Way too young.

Awful news. I believe as a student he was in the pep band. Drums?

Always spotted him at games. RIP.....prayers to his family and friends.
